Privacy Policy
This policy covers the FutMatic website and the FutMatic browser extension that runs inside EA’s FC Ultimate Team web app. In plain terms: we never touch your EA login, and the only data we process is the card information needed to solve an SBC.
This page is available in English only; the English version is the one that applies.
What we never collect
We never ask for or receive your EA login credentials. You sign in to EA’s web app directly with EA — FutMatic has no access to your EA password, cookies, or EA session token, and never will.
What a solve request contains
When you use the SBC Solver or a related feature, the extension sends the card data from your club that is needed to build a legal squad — such as item ids, ratings, rarities, leagues, nations, clubs, positions and similar fields — to our solver at api.futmatic.com. This request does not include your EA credentials, and it is used only to compute and return a squad to you. We do not build advertising or marketing profiles from your club data.
Your licence
FutMatic is unlocked with a licence key. We do not use email-and-password accounts, and we do not sign you in with any social provider inside the extension. The key exists so we can tell that your membership is active and how much of your daily quota you have used. It is not linked to your real name.
Connected EA accounts
To keep licences fair (one licence is for one person), we record which EA accounts have used your key and when they connected, up to the limit shown in the extension. The stored identifier only tells one EA account apart from another so the limit can be enforced and so support can help you if you ask — it is not tied to your name, email or EA password.
Prices
Market prices used to estimate squad cost come from a public price source (fut.gg) and are fetched by our server, not by anything on your account. No personal data of yours is involved in a price lookup.
What stays only in your browser
Your preferences — solver options, locked players, filters, shortcuts and similar — are stored in your browser’s local storage on ea.com. They live on your device and never reach us unless they are part of a solve request. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
Logs and identifiers
We keep standard technical logs (for example request times and error information) for reliability and abuse prevention. A random support id may be generated in your browser and sent with requests so we can match up a bug report — it is not tied to your EA identity, and it is never sold or shared.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your licence and its associated records at any time by contacting us. Deletion removes your licence, its connected-account records and its logs. Your on-device preferences are yours to clear from your browser at any time; they are never in our hands.
Third parties
We do not sell or share your club data with advertisers. The extension only talks to api.futmatic.com (for solving, configuration and price lookups) and to ea.com as part of the page you already use. Prices originate from fut.gg. We do not use any third-party advertising or tracking services.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above tells you when it last changed. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
